some tips

Your upload should:

  • be shorter than 4 minutes and 59 seconds. It can be any length shorter than this.
  • relate to an SQA Higher subject and you should choose one topic area – e.g. Higher Chemistry, effective nuclear charge.
  • Have five keywords that people can use to search for your video – e.g. chemistry, nuclear, bonding, electron, covalent etc.
  • Film it however you want – be creative – but try and make it as high resolution as possible. Landscape orientation, not portrait, always works best for us. The camera on your phone or ipad is probably better than your laptop. Check the sound is good too.
  • If you are happy to, open your tutorial by introducing yourself (first name only) and what you will cover (Higher subject and topic). Close the tutorial by signing off with ‘this was thinkfour’. No problem if you choose to take a different approach.
  • Worth checking out the theory here, as it may help you in presenting your ideas.
